EFT
​for Trauma

Unresolved traumatic events can cause depression, anxiety, relationship stress, psychosomatic pain, energy depletion, and a host of other physical and emotional symptoms.

In this training, we will introduce a number of tapping techniques that can decrease or completely desensitize the effects of trauma:
  • tearless trauma and other gentle techniques
  • the movie clip technique
  • tell the story technique
 We will focus on the specific aspects of trauma work:
  • how to bypass the traumatized person's natural resistance to remembering or talking about a painful event
  • how to treat acute stress caused by a car accidents or violent crime, before it turns into PTSD
  • how to work with complex trauma, caused by multiple incidents (such as war trauma, or childhood sexual and physical abuse)
  • how to treat pre-verbal (early childhood) trauma, or desensitize an event that a person doesn't remember
  • how to care for secondary trauma.

Positive EFT: Enhancement Tapping

Empower your life and work through this fusion of EFT and neuroscience. Learn to quiet the alarm system of the brain. Use it to override the fight-flight-freeze response, and to increase calm, contentment, sense of well-being, and other positive mental and emotional states.

Enhancement Tapping is a technique that gracefully combines two evidence-based method: Emotional Freedom Technique and Rick Hanson's Positive Neuroplasticity.

Some of the Enhancement Tapping protocols we will learn are:
  • Gratitude Tap (builds positive context around a challenging area);
  • Self-compassion Tap (neutralizes self-judgment around having a negative feeling or thought);
  • Go-Around Tap (bypasses defensiveness around a particularly painful or challenging area or issue).​
EFT has been widely used to alleviate stress and anxiety, encourage positive self-image, and promote healthy mood levels. You can now learn to use it to deepen your sense of safety, satisfaction, and connection, by making it easier for your brain and nervous system to absorb and metabolize positive experiences.
